ZON Energy is an AI energy optimization company focused on helping data centers reduce power consumption and improve operational efficiency. They are seeking a highly experienced Senior Enterprise Sales Executive to lead business development and strategic sales into the data center industry, targeting owner-operated data centers and enterprise technology organizations.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, develop, and close opportunities with owner-operated data centers, colocation providers, hyperscale operators, AI infrastructure companies, and enterprise data center owners
- Build relationships with CEOs, COOs, CTOs, Chief Development Officers, Heads of Data Center Operations, VP Energy, Facilities leaders, and Sustainability executives
- Introduce ZON’s AI energy optimization platform to senior decision-makers and clearly communicate the value proposition: reduced power consumption, lower operating costs, improved sustainability, and increased usable compute capacity
- Develop and manage a qualified pipeline of strategic opportunities
- Secure pilot programs, proof-of-concept deployments, and commercial agreements
- Work closely with leadership, technical, and operations teams to support customer discussions, technical diligence, and deployment planning
- Maintain accurate CRM updates, including active opportunities, contacts, next steps, expected timing, and likelihood of conversion
- Represent ZON Energy professionally at industry events, conferences, and executive meetings
- Provide market feedback to the leadership team regarding customer needs, objections, competition, pricing, and partnership opportunities
Requirements:
- 10+ years of enterprise sales, strategic business development, or partnerships experience
- Proven experience selling into data centers, cloud infrastructure, energy infrastructure, facilities management, DCIM, enterprise software, AI infrastructure, or related technical markets
- Existing relationships with decision-makers at data center operators, colocation providers, hyperscale companies, energy companies, or infrastructure firms
- Strong ability to sell to C-level executives and senior technical/operational stakeholders
- Experience structuring pilots, proof-of-concepts, enterprise agreements, or strategic partnerships
- Comfortable selling a technical product with a strong ROI, energy savings, and operational efficiency message
- Highly disciplined with follow-up, pipeline management, CRM reporting, and written updates
- Professional, credible, persistent, and able to navigate long enterprise sales cycles
- Experience with or relationships at companies such as: Schneider Electric, Vertiv, Eaton, Siemens, Honeywell, Johnson Controls, ABB, Equinix, Digital Realty, QTS, DataBank, CoreSite, Vantage, Aligned, CyrusOne, Flexential, Compass, EdgeCore, DCIM platforms, energy optimization companies, cloud infrastructure providers, or AI infrastructure companies
