ReadTheory is a growing educational platform that helps students improve their reading skills. They are seeking a Sales Development Representative who enjoys outreach and connecting with schools, with the potential to grow into an Account Executive role.
Responsibilities:
- Lead high-volume outreach across email, phone, and LinkedIn – you love the chase
- Manage a healthy pipeline of inbound and outbound leads
- Run discovery calls and introductory walkthroughs
- Qualify leads and book strong demos for Account Executives
- Partner with Sales Leadership to refine messaging and outreach strategy
- Use CRM and sales engagement tools to work efficiently and hit goals
- Represent ReadTheory at select education events and conferences
- Help shape our sales processes, playbooks, and early-stage best practices
Requirements:
- 2+ years as an SDR or BDR in EdTech
- Clear and confident communicator — warm, human, concise
- Comfortable making cold calls and speaking naturally on Zoom
- Strong time-management and organizational skills
- Experience with CRM and sales engagement tools
- Curiosity about education, reading, or student learning
- A growth mindset and excitement about working in a fast-growing environment
