As the Senior Business Systems Analyst of Merchandising Systems, you will conduct requirements gathering, document business needs, evaluate software solutions, and support testing activities while collaborating with various teams to ensure system efficiency and effectiveness.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct requirement gathering sessions with Business Leaders to define systems/process requirements, solutions options, and function as a Subject Matter Expert
- Document business requirements, business cases and functional specs
- Evaluate potential software solutions and the system architecture to ensure they meet business requirements
- Design, development and administration of Merchandising and Planning Applications
- Support system and user acceptance testing activities, including issue resolution
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams and vendor resources to address business or systems issues
- Complete functional and technical documentation to ensure the system is fully documented
- This person must be able to work under minimal supervision, must have strong verbal and written communication skills and skills to mentor Junior Team Members
- Ensures that existing and new applications meet ongoing/evolving business and end-user requirements, and department and systems goals
- Develops, plans, and coordinates in-depth end-user reviews for existing and new systems or applications
- Developing detailed software development and upgrade project plans
- Develop reports and Dashboards for Merchandising and Planning business
- Demonstrate hands-on experience in design and development of Merchandising and Plannings System along with its integration and reporting functions
- Develops and communicate training and documentation for end users, coordinates and/or holds clinics and other user-related activities as necessary
- Provide administration and troubleshooting support for Merchandising and Planning applications & interfaces
Requirements:
- 5+ years of IT experience as BA, BSA or Technical Analyst working with cloud-based, Merchandising, PLM, Planning and Allocation systems as well as the Oracle Retail Suite of products… e.g: Merchandising, Pricing, Invoice Management. (Preferably V19 or above on a cloud-based platform)
- SDLC knowledge with a good understanding of Waterfall, Agile and Scrum methodologies
