Akraya, Inc. is an award-winning IT staffing firm seeking an In-Kind Project Manager to support nonprofit-focused ServiceNow implementation engagements. This role is responsible for delivery oversight, governance, milestone management, and stakeholder coordination across multiple concurrent projects.
Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end project planning, execution, milestone tracking, governance, and reporting for assigned ServiceNow implementation engagements
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, dependency mapping, and RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies)
- Coordinate with nonprofit stakeholders and certified implementation partners to ensure successful project delivery and adoption
- Facilitate governance meetings, milestone checkpoints, status reviews, and go-live readiness assessments
- Track implementation progress against approved scope, grant objectives, and delivery timelines
- Identify project risks, scope variances, and delivery challenges while recommending mitigation strategies
- Escalate critical delivery risks and issues to designated stakeholders when appropriate
- Support transition planning, go-live validation, and post-implementation outcome reporting
- Provide advisory guidance on delivery structure, sequencing, implementation feasibility, and platform best practices
- Drive stakeholder communication and alignment across cross-functional teams and external partners
Requirements:
- 4-8 years of enterprise technology project management experience
- Hands-on experience managing and/or supporting ServiceNow implementations
- Strong governance, risk management, and milestone tracking experience including RAID logs and stakeholder coordination
- Experience coordinating cross-functional stakeholders and external implementation partners
- Ability to independently manage multiple project engagements concurrently
- Strong communication, reporting, and project execution capabilities
- Working knowledge of ServiceNow delivery methodologies such as NowCreate
- Experience supporting enterprise SaaS, digital transformation, or platform implementation initiatives
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification preferred
- Experience supporting enterprise SaaS, ServiceNow platform implementations, nonprofit technology initiatives, digital transformation programs, or mission-driven organizations is highly preferred
- US-based candidates preferred; East Coast candidates supporting PST hours are acceptable
