ICONMA is seeking a Product Marketing Manager I to join their team. The role involves running marketing activities, developing marketing opportunities, and managing marketing staff to drive market requirements and go-to-market plans for client solutions.
Responsibilities:
- The main function of marketing manager is to run marketing activities by researching and developing marketing opportunities and plans; implementing sales plans and managing marketing staff
- Accomplishes marketing human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling and coaching employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures
- Achieves marketing operational objectives by contributing marketing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change
- Meets marketing financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions
- Identifies marketing opportunities by identifying consumer requirements; defining market, competitor's share, and competitor's strengths and weaknesses; forecasting projected business; establishing targeted market share
- Improves product marketability and profitability by researching, identifying, and capitalizing on market opportunities; improving product packaging; coordinating new product development
- Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends

- The Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving market requirements and go-to-market plans for Client solutions across our advertiser interfaces for all advertisers using our platform
- This includes assessing market needs, conducting research to influence new product development, evaluating approaches to mitigate product risks, owning go-to-market strategy and identifying opportunities to improve existing products
- The ideal candidate will have excellent cross-functional collaboration, analytical, and communication skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and comfort with ambiguity
- Support market assessment, quantitative analysis, qualitative feedback, to help represent the requirements of the market internally with Product Management and Engineering Deeply understand advertiser needs/requirements and product risk areas in order to prioritize recommendations to product, engineering, and design teams for new and existing products
- Contribute to cross-functional projects across Client that build new innovative solutions for advertisers/marketers to ensure that products and solutions are incorporated into the platform in a consistent and strategic manner
- Ensure the right level of alignment, consistency and flexibility in approach across regional and vertical teams, with the goal of scaling impact while meeting market-specific needs
- Own go-to-market strategy for a portfolio of products and solutions by contributing to cross-functional work to develop client communications, product documentation, and positioning
- Contribute to successful go-to-market activations across multiple internal sales and partnerships teams to help craft effective messaging for a variety of audiences and and internal go-to-market teams
- Aligning on weekly priorities and identifying the big milestones that need to move forward
- Independently executing against goals that are assigned to them
- Writing comms to sales and identifying progress updates and blockers for product adoptions
- Identifying challenges advertisers are running into and providing actionable feedback
Requirements:
- Verbal and written communication skills, multi-tasking, customer service skills and interpersonal skills

- Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or journalism
- The ideal candidate will have experience in digital advertising/monetization product management or marketing, and an understanding of the digital advertising/marketing industry
- They should be comfortable contributing to cross-functional work to deliver results within a fast-paced environment

- Experience collaborating across cross-functional teams and enrolling the necessary leadership support to drive resolution in the context of competing perspectives

- Organizational and people skills and experience setting priorities, problem-solving, multitasking and working independently in a dynamic, rapidly changing workplace
- Communication skills that are effective with technical, business, and external stakeholders
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or Creative discipline
- Years of overall experience required: 2+ yrs
- MBA or other relevant advanced degree
- Experience in a product marketing capacity (partnering closely with product management, product marketing and/or engineering to represent market/customer requirements and supporting product launches)
- [NEW! BPM-X Preferred Qualification] Experience with go-to-market for products with global reach end-to-end, including sales enablement and writing positioning/narrative
- Experience in the advertising/marketing space with online media related products
