Member of Technical Staff

Slingshot AI is the team behind Ash, the first AI designed for mental health, aiming to make support more accessible. The Member of Technical Staff will design, build, and launch features to enhance the product, collaborating with a cross-functional team to ensure a high-quality user experience.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate within a cross-functional team spanning engineering, machine learning, and product to quickly design, build, and launch new features across the stack
• Work comfortably across all parts of our stack, which includes the app (Dart/Flutter), core backend (Kotlin), internal tooling (Next.js/TypeScript), and ML scripts for evaluation, data processing, and model training (Python)
• Elevate user experience by continually refining app reliability, performance, and polish
• Rapidly investigate, diagnose, and resolve bugs to ensure product stability
• Take initiative to independently prototype new features based on customer feedback and your own product intuitions
