Amun is seeking a Director of Market Strategy to formulate and drive the company's overall market strategy within the financial markets. This role involves collaboration with the executive team and various departments to provide data-driven insights and strategic recommendations for corporate growth.
Responsibilities:
- Formulate the company's medium-to-long-term market strategy, identifying business growth opportunities and potential market risks
- Analyze financial industry trends, competitor dynamics, and customer needs to propose actionable strategic solutions
- Assist the executive team in establishing annual business development objectives and strategic priorities
- Collect and analyze macroeconomic, industry, and customer data to provide strategic reports and recommendations
- Conduct market research, customer segmentation, and competitive analysis to identify new growth areas
- Evaluate the market potential of new products and services, and propose market entry strategies
- Collaborate closely with the Product, Marketing, Sales, Risk, and Compliance departments to ensure effective strategy implementation
- Participate in decision-making regarding new product initiation, positioning, and commercialization to ensure alignment with the overall market strategy
- Drive cross-functional collaborative projects to enhance the organization's strategic execution capabilities
- Establish strategic KPIs and metrics to monitor the effectiveness of market strategy execution
- Regularly report to the executive team on market trends, strategic progress, and proposed adjustments
- Drive continuous optimization and innovation to enhance the company's market competitiveness
- Lead the Market Strategy team, including market analysts, researchers, and project managers
- Develop the team's data analysis capabilities and strategic thinking, fostering a culture of efficient collaboration
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Management, or a related field; an MBA is preferred
- 25+ years of experience in the financial industry, with at least 20 years specifically in strategic management or market strategy roles
- Familiarity with banking, asset management, insurance, or investment operations
- Proficiency in utilizing market analysis tools, data analytics, and business modeling techniques
- Possession of exceptional strategic thinking, analytical, and cross-functional communication skills
- Outstanding leadership and project management capabilities
- MBA is preferred
