Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced MongoDB SME with strong expertise in designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-scale MongoDB environments. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of MongoDB architecture, replication, sharding, performance tuning, distributed systems, backup/recovery strategies, and operational automation. This role will work closely with engineering, DevOps, infrastructure, and security teams to build scalable, secure, and highly available database platforms supporting mission-critical applications.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of hands-on MongoDB administration and architecture experience
• Strong experience with MongoDB replication, replica sets, and failover design
• Expertise in MongoDB sharding and distributed database architecture
• Strong performance tuning skills including indexing, query optimization, and aggregation tuning
• Experience with backup/recovery, disaster recovery, and HA strategies
• Strong Linux administration and scripting experience (Bash/Python)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and automation
• Knowledge of MongoDB security, authentication, authorization, and encryption
• Experience with monitoring, capacity planning, and operational support
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
