Microsoft Security / Purview Information Protection / Entra ID / Microsoft Defender - Customer Engineer

JDA TSG has immediate opportunities for a Microsoft Purview Expert with deep expertise in Purview Information Protection, Copilot for Security, Entra ID, and Microsoft Defender for M365 to join our team as Customer Engineers. In this role, you will be responsible for customer satisfaction, deployment, adoption, optimization, and support of Microsoft security solutions for Fortune 1000 enterprises.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with customers to assess, architect, and implement Microsoft Purview Information Protection, Copilot for Security, Entra ID, and Microsoft Defender for M365 solutions aligned with business and regulatory requirements
• Serve as a technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) across Microsoft Security, Microsoft Purview Information Protection, Microsoft Copilot for Security, Microsoft Entra ID, and Microsoft Defender technologies
• Lead technical workshops, discovery sessions, architecture reviews, deployment planning, and implementation engagements
• Provide guidance on Zero Trust security architecture and modern information protection strategies
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to identity, compliance, governance, endpoint security, and information protection
• Deliver strategic recommendations and operational best practices to improve customer security posture and compliance maturity
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, delivery, and customer success teams to drive successful engagements
• Contribute to technical documentation, architecture standards, operational runbooks, and best practices
• Stay current with evolving Microsoft Security, Compliance, and Identity technologies and roadmap updates

Requirements:

• 10-15+ years of experience supporting enterprise Microsoft cloud security and compliance solutions
• 7+ years of deep expertise in Microsoft Purview Information Protection Information Protection
• 7+ years of deep expertise in Microsoft Security for Microsoft 365
• 7+ years of deep expertise in Microsoft Copilot for Security
• 7+ years of deep expertise in Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
• 7+ years of deep expertise in Microsoft Defender for Microsoft 365
• Strong understanding of Zero Trust Architecture
• Strong understanding of Identity & Access Management (IAM)
• Strong understanding of Cloud Security & Governance
• Strong understanding of Data Security & Compliance Frameworks
• Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 Security Ecosystem
• Experience working directly with enterprise customers in consulting, engineering, or customer-facing technical roles
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and presentation skills
