Founding AI Engineer ($150k - $300k + equity) at Kinro (YC P26)

Standout is recruiting for a YC-backed pre-seed startup building AI sales agents for the insurance industry. The Founding AI Engineer will be the first engineering hire and will build AI product systems end-to-end, including agent architecture, backend services, and customer deployments.

Responsibilities:

• Build AI product systems end-to-end: tool use, backend services, evals, production monitoring, and customer deployments
• Improve agent quality, latency, safety, and cost through better architectures, feedback loops, and evaluation harnesses
• Use agentic coding tools aggressively and responsibly, and turn one-off production lessons into reusable product and platform capabilities
