Instrumentation & Controls Engineering Manager

Ares Technology Consultants, LLC specializes in providing expert support for mission-critical data center operations with a focus on electrical and mechanical systems. They are seeking an Instrumentation & Controls Engineering Manager to serve as the technical authority for control systems, ensuring proper design, installation, and commissioning of critical control systems across all projects.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee design and implementation of controls systems (EPMS, BAS, SCADA)
• Lead system integration across electrical and mechanical systems
• Manage commissioning, testing, and system validation
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues in critical environments
• Coordinate with project teams, vendors, and contractors
• Establish controls standards and best practices
• Support system turnover and operational readiness
• Mentor technical staff as the team grows

Requirements:

• 10–15+ years in controls engineering or building automation
• Strong commissioning and troubleshooting background
• Familiarity with major control platforms and system integration
• Experience with mission-critical or data center systems
