Junior Business Analyst

Matricstek Inc. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Business Analyst to join their growing team. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to analyze business processes, gather requirements, and support data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Gather, document, and analyze business requirements from stakeholders
• Assist in creating business process flows, reports, and functional documentation
• Support data analysis and reporting using tools such as Excel, SQL, or BI platforms
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvements and business solutions
• Participate in meetings, workshops, and requirement-gathering sessions
• Help track project progress, timelines, and deliverables
• Prepare presentations, dashboards, and status reports for management
• Assist in testing, validation, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Maintain accurate project and business documentation

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Basic understanding of business analysis methodologies and SDLC
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Familiarity with SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or similar reporting tools is a plus
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Internship or academic project experience in business analysis or data analysis
• Knowledge of Agile or Scrum methodologies
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar collaboration tools
• Understanding of data visualization and reporting concepts
