Catapult Federal Services is a leading financial technology company that strengthens the connections between people and their financial institutions through innovative technology solutions. They are seeking an experienced Senior Application Engineer to support and maintain critical systems and customer environments, ensuring optimal system performance and customer satisfaction through remote technical support and system troubleshooting.
Responsibilities:
- Perform remote customer support including system design, installation, repair, testing, and maintenance of technical products
- Troubleshoot complex issues across applications, infrastructure, and third-party systems to drive resolution
- Serve as a liaison between customers, internal teams, and third-party vendors
- Provide guidance and training to customers on system operation and proprietary software
- Support and monitor environments including servers, firewalls, routers, Active Directory, and cloud platforms
- Assist with application support, including .NET-based systems
- Communicate customer feedback to engineering and product teams to support continuous improvement
- Maintain system reliability, performance, and security across environments
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 years of experience in IT Operations or DevOps
- Strong experience supporting .NET applications
- Solid networking knowledge including DNS, TCP/IP, subnetting, routing, and security principles
- Experience troubleshooting across infrastructure, applications, and network layers
- Ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams and external vendors
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Networking, Systems, or Cloud-related certification (e.g., CompTIA Network+, AWS, Azure, CCNA)
