We are looking for a seasoned IT Sourcing Consultant to lead complex procurement projects and supplier management strategies. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker who excels at navigating the full lifecycle of IT contracts-from initial solicitation to final execution.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Sourcing: Lead the development of solicitation documents, proposal evaluations, and negotiation strategies.
• Contract Negotiation: Execute risk mitigation strategies and establish long-term contracts that protect customer interests.
• Stakeholder Management: Act as a bridge between technical requirements and business goals, ensuring timely delivery and effective communication.
• Strategy Development: Independently develop and execute sourcing strategies to solve complex IT business problems.

Top Required Skills

• Procurement Expertise: 8+ years of deep industry experience in Procurement and Supplier Management.
• Negotiation: Proven track record in high-stakes contract and vendor negotiations.
• Technical Writing: Ability to draft precise solicitation documents and complex IT contracts.
• Requirements Gathering: Strong ability to translate business needs into technical procurement requirements.
• Project Leadership: Experience managing complex work efforts and multi-tasking across various staff levels.

Preferred Qualifications

• Public Sector Knowledge: Familiarity with Virginia Public Procurement Laws is highly desired.
