Role Overview
- Participate in a cross-shore development team
- Review Pull requests and provide feedback to developers
- Own and work with the dev team on deliverables
- Control and improve code quality in the team
- Implement culture of learning in the team
- Influence and collaborate to create amazing APIs
- Participate in Agile scrums with cross-functional teams
- Analyze production defects, troubleshoot systems, identify root cause and implement fixes
- Work with third-party vendors to develop software and/or integrate their software into our products
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related degree
- 3 years modern application development experience
- 5 years of experience with cloud native application development using Java
- Familiarity with building and consuming web services via SOAP and REST
- Java development experience
- Familiarity with common Java frameworks like Spring and Spring Boot
- Familiarity with Jira and Bitbucket
- Familiarity with continuous integration environments
- Familiarity writing unit and integration tests
- Familiarity with JSON, REST, and XML based web services
- Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical peers
- Desire to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
