Senior Software Development Engineer

Role Overview

• Building and maintaining software programs, reports, and interfaces for data exchange.
• Working with healthcare interoperability standards like HL7 v2, HL7 v3 XML, CCDA, X12, FHIR.
• Configuring and monitoring interfaces in Interface Engine Mirth.
• Providing technical expertise, mentoring junior developers, and leading medium-sized projects.
• Ensuring high performance, stability, and adherence to quality standards for critical healthcare data exchange.

Requirements

• Expertise in languages relevant to healthcare IT, such as JavaScript, Cache, C#, .NET, and SQL.
• Strong understanding of the Epic EHR platform, healthcare workflows, and interoperability standards.
• Familiarity with databases, Azure services, messaging queues, security, and networking.
• Demonstrated ability in leadership, problem-solving, communication, and mentorship.
• Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Relative Experience
• Epic Bridges Certification
