Automation Engineer

United Consulting Hub is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Automation Engineer to join their team in the Pharma & Life Sciences domain. The role involves supporting automation projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and contributing to the improvement of manufacturing and quality processes through automation technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of automation systems for pharmaceutical processes
• Work with PLC, SCADA, and DCS systems to support manufacturing operations
• Participate in system validation activities (IQ, OQ, PQ) in compliance with regulatory standards
• Troubleshoot automation issues and provide timely resolution
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality, and engineering
• Ensure adherence to GMP, FDA, and other regulatory requirements
• Maintain documentation related to automation systems and processes
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related field)
• 0–2 years of experience in automation within Pharma or Life Sciences (freshers with relevant internships can apply)
• Basic knowledge of PLC (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley), SCADA, or DCS systems
• Understanding of GMP and regulatory requirements is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
