FICO is a leading analytics and decision management company that empowers businesses and individuals around the world with data-driven insights. They are seeking a Senior Director/VP of Delivery Management to lead the transformation of their delivery management function, ensuring integration with product and engineering while establishing metrics for success.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end transformation of FICO's delivery management function, redefining role charters, team structures, career paths, and the talent allocation model to reflect the demands of a modern, platform-driven software organization shipping at scale
- Establish and embed a unified delivery framework that creates consistency, transparency, and accountability across the organization without sacrificing team autonomy or speed
- Own delivery predictability and execution health across the Product and Technology organization, providing executive leadership with clear, data-driven visibility into progress, risks, dependencies, and capacity constraints
- Build a high-performance delivery management team that operates as a strategic peer to engineering and product, earning credibility through impact rather than authority, and attract, develop, and retain the talent required to make that real
- Partner closely with Product Management and Engineering leadership to ensure delivery management is tightly integrated into planning, prioritization, and execution
- Establish delivery metrics and health indicators that connect team-level execution to business outcomes, enabling FICO's leadership to make faster, better-informed investment and trade-off decisions
- Champion the adoption of AI-augmented delivery practices, including predictive risk identification, intelligent forecasting, and automated dependency detection, to continuously raise the bar on what delivery excellence looks like
Requirements:
- 12+ years leading delivery management at enterprise software scale, with direct experience transforming a delivery function, not just running one
- Proven ability to lead large-scale organizational change, redefining team structures, allocation models, and performance measurement while maintaining engagement and momentum through transformation
- Strong executive communication skills, able to translate complex platform delivery dynamics into clear narratives, articulate a transformation vision, and influence without authority across organizational boundaries
- Experience building cohesive, high-performing teams across matrixed, geographically distributed environments, with an understanding of delivering financial-grade platform technology globally
- Track record of operating as a true strategic peer to engineering and product leadership, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
- Deep, practical expertise in modern delivery methodologies and continuous delivery, applied across multiple product lines and tailored to context rather than applied dogmatically
- Demonstrated experience managing delivery across composable platform architectures, orchestrating shared services, managing cross-team dependencies, and navigating trade-offs between platform stability and feature velocity
- Experience within platform-oriented, financial services, or regulated environments is strongly preferred
