The Localization Product Strategist will serve as a strategic advisor to product teams, helping them plan successful launches into different markets and ensuring products resonate with diverse audiences globally.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the localization of one or several Google products from inception to launch, managing delivery, cost and quality of projects and overseeing vendor execution
- Master Localization workflows and services, identifying tool and process needs to enable operational scaling, and partnering with Operations and Engineering to support deployment
- Construct a compelling case for new business opportunities, develop insightful recommendations and drive development and implementation, packaging your work into presentations that influence various audiences including executives
- Cultivate strong relationships with product teams, educating and advising them on their product’s localization journey whilst representing global users and addressing top business needs related to a product’s localization and local insights
- Manage the product’s localization budget, from understanding the roadmap to drive the annual planning, to advising stakeholders on optimizing their spend
