Technical Support Engineer, Electric Heating

Danfoss is a company that engineers solutions to increase machine productivity and reduce energy consumption. They are seeking a Technical Support Engineer for Electric Heating to provide technical support, prepare quotes, and collaborate with the sales team to drive growth in electric heating products across the USA.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and deliver accurate quotes, material take-offs, layout drawings, and wiring diagrams for residential and commercial projects
• Provide expert technical support to contractors, distributors, engineers, and agents, including product selection, system design, and troubleshooting
• Conduct technical presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions (virtual and in-person) to showcase solutions
• Collaborate with the sales team to track performance, analyse data, and prepare technical reports
• Maintain technical documentation such as datasheets, installation guides, diagrams, and presentations

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
• 4–8 years of industry experience; electric heating experience highly desirable
• Proven experience as a technical engineer or in the construction sector
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and strong understanding of electrical principles
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to travel 10–15% domestically
