About this role
Role Overview
Gathering and preparing financial data to maintain the general ledger for all Germania entities.
Preparing bank reconciliations and ensuring accuracy across assigned accounts.
Assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including the NAIC Quarterly and Annual Statement.
Completing personal auto statistical filings and verifying data submitted to statistical agents and Call Reports.
Preparing estimated tax calculations for periodic remittance and financial statement recording.
Compiling information and documentation requested by internal and external auditors.
Performing other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred; equivalent experience with a high school diploma or equivalent required.
Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software or ERP systems preferred.
