About this role
Role Overview
Provide comprehensive administrative and technical support for pre-award functions related to pediatric research grants and projects
Coordinate with principal investigators, research staff, and various stakeholders for the preparation and submission of grant proposals
Review and interpret grant guidelines from NIH and other foundations/agencies
Formulate grant & study budgets according to established norms, enters documents, secures approvals
Prepare internal approval documents for proposals and obtains signatures
Upload and review all agency forms for submission
Track and maintain online database of grants submitted, awarded, rejected, etc.
Send reminders to PIs of deadlines for continuation, competitive renewals, progress reports, etc.
Organize and maintain electronic and hard copy grant files
Ensure compliance documents are in order at time of award
Assist PIs in preparation of annual progress reports as needed
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and/or experience may substitute for minimum education
No specific certification/professional license is required for this position
No specific work experience is required for this position
Knowledge of Workday, RMS (Research Management System) and SUBS system preferred
Knowledge of agency guidelines preferred
