Develop end-to-end process maps of immunization reporting and data flow across IHS Headquarters, Area Offices, and Service Units
Build decision trees and use-case scenarios that show providers and program staff exactly which report to use, when, and how
Clarify role delineation across organizational levels and user types (providers, program staff, quality improvement personnel, Area Immunization Coordinators, leadership)
Facilitate stakeholder working sessions to document current-state workflows and design improved future-state processes
Identify workflow gaps, redundancies, and inconsistencies contributing to underused or misinterpreted reports
Contribute flowcharts, templates, and step-by-step workflows to a comprehensive User Operations Guide
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Industrial Engineering, Public Health, or a related field
Minimum 5 years of experience conducting workflow analysis, process mapping, business process improvement, stakeholder facilitation, and operational assessments
Experience developing process maps, decision trees, and workflow documentation (BPMN, swim-lane, SIPOC)
Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent process improvement certification
Healthcare, public health, or federal agency environment experience; EHR/clinical reporting workflow familiarity a plus
Proficiency with Visio, Lucidchart, or similar diagramming tools; awareness of Section 508 accessibility standards.
