Role Overview
- Provides data governance expertise and business leadership
- Supports the delivery of activities within the LOB Data Strategy
- Partners closely with Technology and other SMEs
- Implements and maintains LOB-specific processes
- Ensures data-related activities are compliant with applicable laws and regulations
- Leads cross-functional teams or projects
- Identifies, measures, and monitors data-related risks
- Governs and provides oversight of data management activities
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree or technical certificate
- 7+ years relevant experience
- Advanced knowledge of data governance/data management practices
- Advanced knowledge of M&A due diligence process
- Advanced knowledge of data risk management and data life cycle management
- Skill in using analytical software tools, data analysis methods and reporting techniques
- Skill in mentoring/coaching others
- Skill in using computer applications including MS Office
- Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form
- Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
