Completing the daily duties of underwriting and monitoring credit while performing analytical activities and identifying risks or issues as needed
Drafting credit approval documents and review memos for loans and other ancillary products
Proactively monitoring Credit Excellence and initiating collection of financial statements for upcoming renewals and periodic reviews
Preparing succinct credit approval memos with minimal errors
Completing ongoing portfolio monitoring, including covenant tracking, financial statement reviews, and running risk rating models
Identifying and determining monitoring analysis activities required
Generating and providing various pipeline and portfolio reporting as needed to credit leadership, portfolio managers, underwriters, relationship managers and others as needed
Ensuring accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of credit data across internal systems and reports
Identifying emerging risks or negative trends and escalating appropriately
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business (e.g. Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting)
2+ years of Commercial Banking credit analysis experience, ideally that includes leveraged finance experience
Sound Financial and risk analysis understanding, including the ability to develop financial models
Extensive Knowledge of banking products and services
Knowledge of corporate business structure and legal documents
General knowledge of U.S. government and regulation
Proficiency in internal banking applications
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining close attention to detail
Proficient in all Microsoft Office software
