Customer Service Representative

Gandy Ink is a dedicated company focused on excellence and teamwork in the printing industry. They are seeking a Customer Service Representative to act as a liaison between customers, sales, and production departments, handling inquiries and maintaining updates on production schedules.

Responsibilities:

• Interacts with customers by phone, online chat, email or in person about printing requirements and collects production print specifications for printing job
• Fills out pre-production order specification information, detailing parameters of print job
• Coordinates the preparation of all written quotes and proposals
• Maintains daily update of production schedule, noting any deviations
• Handles phone inquiries for job status, estimates, orders, changes and complaints
• Keeps salesperson informed about job status and problems
• Provides customer with shipment confirmation
• Maintains cleanliness of work area and equipment
• Carries out conduct and responsibilities in accordance with company policies, procedures, safety, and applicable laws
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to six months related experience and/or training in print processes; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong skills in work planning, scheduling and must have good judgment of color, design and print quality
• Must be reliable, responsible and take direction well
• Employee must be able to see and hear, read and write
