Role Overview
- Provide peer support and mentorship grounded in lived recovery experience
- Assess needs, complete screenings, and help develop care plans
- Connect members to community resources and essential services
- Collaborate with care teams, primary care providers, and community partners
Requirements
- Certified Peer Recovery/Support Specialist
- Experience working with the Tennessee Department of Child Services (DCS)
- Understanding of substance use disorder and recovery process
- Ability to assess needs and develop care plans
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
