About this role
Role Overview
You take responsibility in business software projects with a focus on finance and accounting, controlling, and reporting
Analyze existing financial processes and develop appropriate ERP solutions together with the business units
Gather requirements, challenge workflows, and translate business needs into clear implementation steps
Support companies in optimizing and digitizing their financial processes
Facilitate workshops, structure complex issues, and produce clear, actionable outcomes
Work at the interface between finance, business analysis, ERP software, and project delivery
You accompany projects from initial analysis through design to implementation
Apply your process knowledge in finance and accounting to create technically sound and practical solutions
Support testing of new functions, review results, and ensure high implementation quality
Document requirements, decisions, and implementation steps in a clear and traceable manner
Support training and workshops and explain ERP functions in an understandable way
Identify recurring questions or process issues and derive meaningful improvements
Actively contribute to standards, templates, and best practices that make projects more efficient and comprehensible
Continuously expand your know-how in business software, finance, and project work
Requirements
Completed further education or degree in business administration, business informatics, finance and accounting, or a comparable field
Professional experience in finance and accounting, controlling, fiduciary/tax advisory or in a comparable finance role
Good understanding of financial workflows, accounting processes, and business management contexts from practical experience
Enjoy questioning, structuring, and further developing processes with digital solutions
Strong affinity for ERP systems, business software, and digitalization
Ideally initial experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Microsoft Dynamics NAV, or a comparable ERP solution
Experience in business analysis or project management is an advantage, but interest, process understanding, and willingness to learn are more important
Ability to capture business requirements, logically categorize them, and communicate them clearly
