Service existing customers, obtain orders and establish new customers by planning and organizing daily work schedules to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade contacts.
Focus sales efforts by studying existing and potential customer markets.
Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules and merchandising techniques.
Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by reviewing professional publications and establishing personal networks.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Associate degree in business or related field
5 or more years' experience in a related position
Efficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook) and VPN
Efficient with Windows based ERP programs (brand specific not required)
