Social Services Assistant

Role Overview

• Performs individual counseling and instruction to at-risk youth in the area of performance, personal problems, and behavioral problems.
• Supervises and ensures physical safety and well-being of youth program participants.
• Ensures safety and security of campus buildings and grounds.
• Maintains records of student movement/facility functions with professionalism and in accordance with all laws/regulations/policies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum of six months of work experience in human services programs or public service.
• Required to have a background check and child/adult maltreatment registry check.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Arkansas Driver's License and meet the eligibility requirements covered by the state insurance policy.
