Develop new cloud-native services and platform capabilities, contributing to technical designs and engineering decisions across the product lifecycle
Take ownership of the services you build, supporting a 'You build it, you run it' culture focused on reliability, performance, and continuous improvement
Collaborate closely with engineers, product teams, and stakeholders, sharing knowledge, reviewing code, and delivering high-quality solutions together
Contribute to Agile delivery practices using GitHub and Scrumban, managing tasks effectively while maintaining clean, well-documented code
Continuously enhance your skills and help modernise Hive's technology landscape, always keeping customer needs at the heart of every solution you create

Strong experience developing software with GoLang and Python, with knowledge of Java or Kotlin considered a bonus
A solid understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD), automated testing, and modern CI/CD practices
Experience building and operating cloud-native applications within AWS, particularly using Lambda, DynamoDB, and CloudFormation
Familiarity with serverless development frameworks such as Serverless Framework, AWS SAM, or AWS CDK, alongside development tools including GitHub, Maven, and Gradle
A passion for innovation, with an interest in Generative AI-powered development tools and how they can improve engineering productivity, quality, and day-to-day workflows
