Teaching and/or understanding the teaching methods of Basic Skills, Pre-HSE, and HSE Preparation
Teaching of HSE/GED/HiSet Preparation: mathematics
Maintaining and submitting accurate student records (i.e., syllabi, attendance, weekly lesson plans)
Motivating students to complete their educational goals beyond a basic education
Communicating and working cooperatively with colleagues on matters regarding course offerings, programs, and activities that enhance the development of the Adult Basic Education program
Attending professional development opportunities and staff meetings
Adhering to the prescribed curriculum and standards
Using and developing a variety of effective teaching techniques and assessment methods (including exams) to support the rigorous program.

Bachelor’s degree in Education, Mathematics, Literacy, or a closely related field from an accredited institution
Experience teaching basic through intermediate level math, or High School Equivalent testing preparation
