Leads and oversees the servicing of financial consulting needs for employee benefit clients
Utilizes industry knowledge and expertise to retain clients by providing financial, industry trends, and strategic insights guiding clients through impactful benefit changes
Independently evaluates financial and utilization metrics for clients including but not limited to monthly financial reports, utilization metrics and benchmarks
Assist in negotiating renewal proposals and preparing and recommending plan changes and/or alternative funding recommendations
Develop reporting requirements and customizations in those reports
Support Benefit Consultants in preparing requests for meetings including coverages & contracts
Participate in prospective client finalist presentations to represent the Brown & Brown financial strategy
Performing demographic analysis, claims reviews, and other projects on prospective clients
Involvement in presentations at client functions and meetings.
Requirements
Strong analytical and critical thinking ability from industry experience
Ability to work independently and exercise judgment
Strong knowledge of and relationship with vendors
Microsoft Excel – Strong to expert level skills
Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
3 to 5 years of related experience
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
