Act as the primary HR point of contact for Tiko Portugal, providing professional guidance on local team structures, workforce planning, and performance management.
Assist people leaders in navigating sensitive employee issues, conflict resolution, and the deployment of performance management frameworks.
Drive clear understanding and adoption of internal HR policies, guiding teams through process transitions with confidence and clarity.
Deliver a comprehensive, welcoming onboarding experience for new hires and manage structured exit processes, including local HR asset recovery logistics (such as equipment collections).
Provide robust local payroll support and maintain high data integrity by keeping our HRIS (BambooHR) accurately updated.
Execute all operational duties with absolute rigor and exceptional judgment, ensuring strict confidentiality and full compliance with local data protection regulations (GDPR/RGPD).
Partner with managers and supervisors to implement local culture and engagement initiatives that foster long-term team cohesion.
Own the end-to-end coordination of local team events, including managing the associated internal travel logistics.
Jump into wider global People team initiatives, running or supporting ad-hoc projects as needed to help out colleagues.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
3–5 years of progressive HR experience, including 1–2 years dedicated to coaching and guiding managers through the employee lifecycle.
Solid background in core HR operations (payroll support, onboarding/offboarding, local compliance) within product-led tech companies.
Hands-on experience with modern HRIS platforms (familiarity with BambooHR is a distinct advantage).
Professional fluency in both English and Portuguese.
