Responsible for the total process of determining applicant/client eligibility of Food and Nutrition Services
Performing eligibility determination functions as the Income Maintenance Caseworker II
Processing tasks in the eligibility determination/redetermination process which require knowledge of Food & Nutrition Program
Functioning independently with responsibility for a variety of complex tasks
Preparing and presenting summaries of the agency’s evidence for local and state appeal hearings resulting from case actions
Requirements
Requires two year of experience as an Income Maintenance Caseworker
A degree from an accredited college or university
An associate’s degree in accounting, business administration, human services, secretarial science or closely related field and at least two years of paraprofessional, clerical or other public contact experience which includes negotiating, interviewing, obtaining, analyzing and/or evaluating data
A high school diploma and at least five years of paraprofessional, clerical or other public contact experience which includes negotiating, interviewing, obtaining, analyzing and/or evaluating data
A minimum of three or more years direct experience in Food and Nutrition Services program
A minimum of three or more years of Department of Social Services experience
