About this role
Role Overview
- Communicate with other instructors and office staff to enroll students and address concerns.
- Work one-on-one with students and in small groups.
- Administer and score the Tests of Adult Basic Education (TABE).
- Teach basic skills/concepts in reading, math, and language.
- Develop an Adult Learning Plan (ALP) for each student.
Requirements
- Instructors must hold a current Arkansas Standard Teacher’s License in an area taught in adult education.
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in education or related field.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of teaching experience.
- Must obtain the adult education endorsement within 3 years of initial hire date as a full time Instructor.
