Manage a district sales team responsible for distributor, contractor, OEM, named account, and industrial sales groups.
Ensure the team meets volume growth, price quality/margin, cost, and customer satisfaction objectives through excellent customer relations and increasing market share.
Conduct annual performance reviews, create employee development plans, and drive technical and professional training initiatives.
Manage and optimize sales performance through balanced scorecard tracking, share growth initiatives, monthly distributor reviews, and coaching sales teams on strategic planning and resource allocation.
Oversee channel partner and distributor management by reviewing business plans, evaluating partner performance, and enforcing ABB distributor policies.
Drive strategic account growth and customer relationships by managing top local accounts and strengthening engagement with key named accounts.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, preferably in Business, Marketing, or STEM.
Minimum of 8 years selling into electrical or heavy industrial markets with a focus on distribution is a must.
Senior Account Management experience within the industry is a must.
Experience in roles such as product management / marketing, custom manufacturing solutions center (CMSC), supply chain, operations, engineering, or program management.
Sales experience of a $15M+ business.
