Own the Supplier Relationship: Serve as the single threaded leader for a top-tier equipment supplier across commercial, delivery, quality, and service dimensions.
Align on Technology and Capacity Roadmaps: Coordinate with Process/Manufacturing Engineering and the supplier on tool/variant selection, upgrades, and lifecycle planning.
Supplier Performance Management: Define and track KPIs (OTD, cycle time, install-to-accept, MTBF/MTTR, cost, quality/defect rates, parts availability).
Negotiate and Manage Commercials: Lead pricing, terms, lead-time, payment, warranty, spares/service agreements, and long-term supply arrangements.
Cost and Value Delivery: Lead total cost of ownership (TCO) initiatives
capex optimization, spares/consumables strategies, field service models, reuse and extend-use programs, and performance-based contracts.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Orchestrate internal stakeholders to resolve issues, approve changes, and land decisions.
Data-Driven Business Management: Maintain accurate demand signals and use dashboards and analytics to anticipate constraints and inform trade-off decisions.
Compliance and Governance: Ensure adherence to company policies, standards, trade compliance, and contractual obligations.
People management: Drive results by inspiring people and developing the capabilities of others.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related technical field.
5+ years of experience in supplier management, strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain operations
preferably in high-tech manufacturing or semiconductor equipment.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, capital equipment lifecycles, and supplier performance management.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex supplier relationships, negotiate commercial terms, and drive cross functional alignment.
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to operate independently in a fast paced, matrixed environment.
