Provides Systems Administration support for an organization, functional unit, or line of business, building on responsibilities such as: Administers development, test and production servers, including reloading, re-imaging and debugging problems.
Installs, removes, and upgrades software packages on test, development, and production servers.
Performs daily monitoring of network systems, independently initiating proactive measures to ensure functionality, connectivity, and load balance.
Troubleshoots systems and host environments, identifying and resolving faults, inconsistencies, and systemic issues.
Evaluates, recommends, and implements solutions to ensure systems functionality and compliance with company standards.
Provides network and systems evaluation and operational reports.
Updates systems records and ensures maintenance of accurate information.
Ensures computer programs in company use are properly licensed, adhere to company standards, and are operational and functional.
Assists systems users by creating instructional how-to guides and by providing technical information and training.
Requirements
BA/BS degree and 2–4 years of relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience
Working expertise in Linux systems administration
Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
U.S. Citizenship and U.S. residency required
