Assist the existing application training team in developing, maintaining, and implementing the Special Education Systems training strategy.
Design, develop, and update instructor-led, virtual, and self-paced training materials for Special Education applications.
Identify training needs and recommend professional development opportunities based on system enhancements and user feedback.
Deliver classroom, virtual, and webinar-based training sessions for DOE staff and end users.
Develop user guides, quick reference guides, job aids, presentations, videos, and e-learning modules.
Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and performance metrics, and recommend improvements.
Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and technical teams to ensure training materials accurately reflect system functionality and business processes.
Support user adoption initiatives and ongoing knowledge transfer activities.
Maintain training documentation and learning management content.
Provide post-training support and assist users in effectively utilizing Special Education systems.
Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to understand new functionality prior to training delivery.
Ensure all training materials comply with DOE standards, accessibility requirements, and project documentation guidelines.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Education, Instructional Design, Training, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience developing and delivering technical training for enterprise applications.
Experience creating instructor-led, virtual, and e-learning training programs.
Strong instructional design, presentation, facilitation, and communication skills.
Experience supporting software implementation or system modernization projects.
Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, and end users.
Experience evaluating training effectiveness and recommending continuous improvements.
