About this role
Role Overview
- Provides direct patient care under supervision of a designated healthcare professional
- Ensures quality patient care, vital sign measurement, maintains patient hygiene, assists with mobility
- Acts as liaison between the patient and nurse, reports changes, shares pertinent information
- Completes patient rounding, 15-minute patient checks, and participates in continued education
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED (required)
- 1 year of experience in a mental health or health care setting (preferred)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Various preferred certifications such as State Tested Nursing Aide (STNA), Certified Nursing Aide (CNA), and Counselor in Training
