About this role
Role Overview
Take responsibility for assigned sub categories within a wider IT based Category
Ensure end-to-end commercial, contractual and relationship lifecycle value
Responsible for tactical contract reviews and sourcing activity
Engaging proactively with Hiscox stakeholders
Manage portfolio of low/medium complexity spend
Support stakeholders with service specifications
Support ESG initiatives with suppliers
Support the wider IT Sourcing team with reporting and analysis
Identify, manage, and mitigate commercial and supply chain risk
Requirements
Clear communicator
Effective approach to stakeholder management
Dynamic and self-motivated style
Good people skills
Understanding of commercial practices
Develop good knowledge of category management process and IValua system
Develop strong negotiation/influencing skills
Ability to extract, interpret and analyze data
