About this role
Role Overview
Lead and develop a team of Area Sales Managers to drive profitable growth and market share across the assigned region.
Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, contractors, and key customer stakeholders.
Develop and execute regional sales and market strategies aligned with broader business objectives.
Analyze market conditions, customer trends, and competitive activity to identify opportunities and risks.
Partner with the Area Director, Distribution Sales to support strategic planning, forecasting, pricing, and business performance initiatives.
Drive accountability for sales performance, margin improvement, pricing execution, and operational excellence.
Lead forecasting and business review processes, utilizing market insights and customer feedback to guide decision-making.
Communicate business strategy and market perspectives to customers and industry partners, strengthening trust and long-term relationships.
Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, Finance, and other cross-functional teams to support customer success and business growth.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience leading sales, marketing, or commercial teams through direct leadership and influence.
Demonstrated success building strong customer relationships and driving profitable business growth.
Experience operating across multiple markets, geographies, or customer segments.
Strong business and financial acumen with experience managing pricing, profitability, and business performance.
Experience developing and executing strategic sales plans and commercial initiatives.
Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead through changing market and economic conditions.
Ability to travel up to 50%.
