Role Overview
- Perform internal data and image capture of wind turbine blades using crawler and manual (human-assisted) inspection methods, in accordance with project scope.
- Provide field support to subcontractors during internal inspection operations (crawler and manual), ensuring compliance with safety procedures and standards.
- Perform pre-evaluation/pre-processing of collected material (crawler and manual): verify coverage, focus, lighting, sequence, file integrity, and any required quality parameters.
- Validate and corroborate the quality of data/images captured by subcontractors, requesting corrections or recaptures when necessary.
- Organize, label, and forward validated material to the analysis team, ensuring traceability (turbine/blade/face, dates, field observations).
- Provide detailed, actionable feedback to the product and engineering teams on Zeitview or other OEM technologies.
- Define collection strategy for projects based on project requirements.
- Plan and assist in the development of operations training and workflows.
- Communicate with local stakeholders to determine operational requirements.
- Travel to and from remote job sites throughout LATAM.
Requirements
- Experience performing internal inspections of wind turbines and blades.
- Written and spoken fluency in Portuguese and English.
- Knowledge of Spanish is a plus.
- GWO Basic Safety Training (BST) certification — required.
- Brazilian driver’s license (CNH
- Category B) — required.
- ART certification — highly desirable.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines.
- Experience implementing and managing client Scope of Work (SOW) objectives.
- Ability to collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders and reach consensus.
- Ability to sit and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to work at heights.
- Ability to work outdoors year-round.
