Develop content ideas based on briefs, strategies, cultural conversations, or opportunities that arise along the way;
Produce short videos, carousels, static posts, stories, short-form clips and reactive content — from research and writing to shooting, visual design, editing and revisions;
Create content quickly when the context demands, without sacrificing the idea, tone or quality of execution;
Collaborate with editors-in-chief and art directors to refine concepts and ensure brand-consistent execution;
Be present at select shoots, events or activations to spot content opportunities and turn them into usable assets;
Adapt content according to platform, audience, objectives and required production level;
Continuously monitor trends, creators, visual references, platform codes and conversations that can inform our ideas;
Observe what works, what doesn’t, and what should be revisited or adapted for future communications.
Requirements
Minimum 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in content creation, video production or social media;
Proven ability to take a content idea from A to Z, without expecting every step to be handled by someone else;
Comfortable creating both video and static visual content, with good judgment on the most appropriate format for each idea;
Strong understanding of the conventions of major social platforms and the best practices specific to each;
Proficient with relevant creation and editing tools: CapCut, Premiere Pro, Canva, or similar tools;
Comfortable writing or adapting copy for content in both French and English;
