Layout, Installation, Detail drawings, Hazardous area classification
Interpret and comply with drafting standards, document management systems, quality control procedures, client standards & specifications, local and international standards
Communicate with engineers in understanding job requirements and interpreting engineering notes
Provide service across a range of Power, Electrical, Instrumentation and Control disciplines so a broad engineering knowledge is an advantage
Utilize software such as AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, RedEye, Trello
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree
Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation & Control Engineering or equivalent
Minimum 5-7 years’ relevant experience in Mining/Water/Industrial/Oil & Gas industry
Experience in AutoCAD, Design & Drafting – required
Renewable Energy, Power Plants, and potentially Manufacturing background may be considered
Experience in Power System Analysis – nice-to-have
Experience in PLC/HMI/SCADA programming – nice-to-have
Experience in Hazardous area classification – nice-to-have
Experience in Commissioning, FAT – nice-to-have
Professional license – nice-to-have
Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal
Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment
Acute attention to detail and appreciation for quality in design documentation
Excellent computer skills
