Role Overview
- Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations while adhering to safety and patient care principles
- Assist physicians with procedures and patient support
- Maintain necessary documentation, patient files, and data entry
- Develop film through automatic processing
- Uphold departmental policies and procedures, and quality assurance standards
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic Life Support certification (must be obtained within one month of hire date)
- Basic Life Support certification must include skills assessment component
- Graduate of Committee of Allied Health Education and Accreditation (AMA) or accredited radiography program
- Communication skills
- Interpersonal relationships
- Radiology equipment familiarity
