Role Overview
Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations while adhering to safety and patient care principles
Assist physicians with procedures and patient support
Maintain necessary documentation, patient files, and data entry
Develop film through automatic processing
Uphold departmental policies and procedures, and quality assurance standards
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Basic Life Support certification (must be obtained within one month of hire date)
Basic Life Support certification must include skills assessment component
Graduate of Committee of Allied Health Education and Accreditation (AMA) or accredited radiography program
Communication skills
Interpersonal relationships
Radiology equipment familiarity
