About this role
Role Overview
Provides direct patient care including obtaining patient history, performing assessments, ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic studies.
Provides treatment and management of acute and chronic disease conditions, develops and implements patient-centered plans of care.
Provides counseling and education to patients and their families on disease management and prevention.
Manages health conditions via prescriptive authority or referrals, may perform diagnostic or therapeutic interventions consistent with certification.
Contributes to quality improvement and patient care initiatives.
Requirements
Master's degree or Graduate of PA program.
Nurse Practitioner must have Advanced Practical Nurse licensure or ability to obtain within three months.
Physician Assistant must have current PA licensure to practice in Missouri and/or Illinois or ability to obtain within three months.
Basic Life Support certification (Online BLS certifications, those without a skills assessment component, are not sufficient).
Oncology experience is highly preferred.
