Lead a team of technology enablement experts, data analytics professionals, and process redesign specialists
Collaborate with IT partners, legal technology engineers, and knowledge engineers to optimize AI systems for transactional workflows
Define and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap to align with business objectives and customer needs
Lead the strategic vision for the legal technology architecture and development of legal systems
Oversee technology transformation work including contract lifecycle management, intake, compliance, ELM, and legal operations-led process improvement initiatives
Build reliable, auditable, and data-based AI-native and agentic systems using LLMs that integrate human-in-the-loop review
Advance Allstate’s Legal Technology and Artificial Intelligence initiatives
Requirements
10 or more years of experience
Prior experience in a law firm, legal technology provider, regulated professional services organization, or other highly confidential environment
Understanding of attorney-client privilege, the work-product doctrine, and the legal and ethical duties
Experience building and/or refining MCP servers and designing evaluation/guardrail frameworks for autonomous agents
Familiarity with legal-specific platforms and use cases (document review, contract analysis, legal research, drafting)
Background that combines software/AI engineering with exposure to litigation, eDiscovery, or knowledge management
Degree in computer science, engineering, data science, or a related field; an advanced degree or JD is a plus but not required in lieu of practical engineering experience
