Quality Manager

Role Overview

• Lead and manage the Quality Department
• Create inspection, sampling, and testing procedures for incoming materials, components, and finished products
• Maintain adherence to IATF 16949, AIAG, and customer-specific requirements
• Track and report on customer satisfaction metrics
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality problems
• Conduct audits, monitor performance, and ensure supplier compliance
• Ensure all quality records, certifications, and databases are accurate and up-to-date
• Integrate quality standards early in the design and development process
• Drive continuous improvement: Implement root cause analysis, scrap reduction, and first-time quality initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in technical or business field preferred
• 5+ years of experience in automotive industry
• 2+ years of experience in Quality Manager role
• Familiarity with electrification highly desired
• Proficiency in quality tools (SPC, FMEA, 8D), automotive systems, and manufacturing processes
• Industry familiarity: Experience with Tier 1 supplier operations, OEM relationships, and automotive certification systems
• Familiarity with IATF16949, ISO, and AIAG requirements
• Understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading and engineering applications
• Ability to speak Chinese preferred
